How to make an appointment - GP & Treatment Room

We are currently offering a phone first service to our patients.

 

Should you require an appointment please telephone the practice as close to 8.30 am as possible Monday - Friday mornings. Our reception staff have been advised to gather as much information from each patient requesting GP contact, this is assist the GP with prioritising their daily call lists. The GP will contact you initially by telephone to assess your condition, if the GP feels that a face to face assesment is required , then one will be booked for you.

Please call early for routine appointments as slots are restricted to a certain capacity.

Treatment room appointments can be organised over the phone with reception staff.

Cancellations

Please call us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an appointment.

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8.30am as possible.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

If you need help when we are closed

Dalriada Urgent Care

Provides emergency cover between 6pm and 8.30am. They also cover weekends and bank holiday periods.

Please remember this is an emergency service only and should not be used for any problem that can wait until normal surgery hours.
